Who Are We?

Welcome to our humble web abode!  We are the people of Cave City First United      Methodist Church, a community of faith   seeking to grow closer to God and to each other through love, grace, and service.

We are flawed, often struggling, ordinary people, who have come together to engage in a journey that draws us to a supportive, spiritually uplifting community based on the ancient

doctrines  revealed in the Scripture and in our experiences with God.  Our desire is to grow in our knowledge of God, grow in God’s profound and eternal love, and share that love with all people.  Our doors are always open to those who, like us,  are seeking something greater in this life, some place to belong.  All people are welcome in our congregation, and we believe that when we welcome a stranger, we welcome Christ.  We believe that God has given each of us extraordinary potential–potential that may be realized here and now, in our everyday lives–and our hope is that you will bless us by connecting with our congregation.

We believe everyone has a place in God's kingdom!

If you would like to know more about the historical faith of our church, please connect with us on Facebook or Twitter, explore the links provided on our website, and engage in the ongoing conversation of faith and worship.  Feel free to email any one of us, friend us on Facebook, or better yet, come on down and share in  a time of worship and fellowship!
